Our Story

Pluto’s Bookshop was born from a belief that books have the power to bring people together and shape stronger communities. Named for Pluto, the cat in Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Black Cat,” our shop is a quiet tribute to the lasting impact of stories—both classic and new. We believe that access to books fosters curiosity, empathy, and connection, and we’re creating a space where those connections can flourish. More than a bookstore, Pluto’s is a place where readers and neighbors gather, ideas are shared, and a sense of belonging grows with every visit.
